Alaa Bahri is the first Saudi ocularist in the Kingdom specialized in the fabrication and fitting of custom-made artificial eyes for people who lost their eyes due trauma or tumor. Her apprenticeship as an ocularist was under the supervision of one the best ocularists in Spain, Mr. Javier Laiseca. She also gained knowledge of new and different techniques in the fabrication of artificial eye during her apprenticeships with a B.C.O. (Board Certified Ocularist), Mr. Marcus Soper. She worked at King Khaled Eye Hospital and Al-Magrabi Eye Hospital. She manages the first licensed ocularist clinic in Saudi Arabia.
